Here is a sneak peek at the Springfield Armory 1911 45 GI MILSPEC Stainless Steel pistol being awarded at the 2011 West Coast Regional Steel Challenge Championships scheduled for Saturday June 18, 2011.
This Match is an SCSA Sanctioned Event and will be held at the ISI Steel Challenge Ranges at Wes Thompson’s, Piru CA location.
This is just one of the great prizes to be awarded to participants of the match.
This pistol was put together as a special project by Custom Defensive Products.

Master Gunsmith JIM HOAG installed the Bo-Mar sights, serrated the top of the slide and checkered the front of the frame with 20 LPI checkering. He also fitted the Bar-Sto barrel and match bushing.
The pistol has a beautifully crisp trigger pull of 3.0 lbs.
Jim assembled this incredible classic 1911 making this a very special and unique, one-of -a kind version of his Master Grade Package just for this event.
