Mike Dalton, Combat Master
Over 20 years of experience in professional combat shooting instruction. Police officer
and Police Rangemaster, FBI Certified Police Firearms Instructor, Police Sub-Machine Gun
Instructor, NRA Certified Rifle, Pistol and Shotgun Instructor. Co-author of Life
Without Fear: Handguns and Self-Defense. Has been competing in amateur and
professional practical shooting competition since 1974 and has obtained Combat Master
status. Listed below are some of this accomplishments during his continuing career.
- 1997,1998 and 1999 World IDPA Steel Challenge Champion.
- 1999 IDPA California State Champion.
- 1999 and 2000 California State IDPA Steel Challenge Champion
- Five Time Southwest Pistol League (IPSC) Combat Champion
- Member of two Silver US IPSC World Combat Shooting Teams and was a Gold and Sliver
Medalist in World Combat Shooting Championships
- Unites States Night Shooting Champion (IPSC)
- Fastest time in Combat Championships (IPSC). Fired perfect score with iron sights in
Bianchi Cup Falling Plates Competition. Third Overall at Bianchi Cup International Pistol
Tournament.
- Member of International Shootists Four Man World Championship Team (Bianchi Cup, IPSC
and Steel Challenge)
- US National Timed Drill Champion (IPSC).
